How do neutron stars form and how can we observe and study these exotic objects? With multi-messenger astronomy, which combines very different astronomical observation methods, we learn more about the structure of neutron stars, which at a diameter of about 20 kilometers can be up to twice as heavy as our Sun. And with by measuring gravitational waves, we can not only see neutron stars, but also hear them.
