In our universe neutron stars continuously collide. These collisions create perfect conditions to study the properties of ultra-dense matter, to study the production of heavy elements, and to make an independent measurement of the expansion of our universe. To this end, in multimessenger astrophysics we analyze neutron star collisions and measurements of individual neutron stars to unravel cosmic mysteries.
