Two public lectures (at 8 pm and 10 pm) about gravitational wave research by Dr. Gudrun Wanner from AEI Hannover. In addition to an overview of gravitational wave research, it also deals with fundamental questions: What are gravitational waves, how can they be measured and what do we learn from them? How do gravitational wave detectors work on Earth and why do we want another detector in space?
