Location Potsdam
Main Focus
My research interests are in various aspects of gravitational-wave astrophysics of compact binary mergers. In particular, I am interested in modeling the ringdown signal from binary black hole mergers, the inference of neutron star equation of state and understanding binary neutron star post-merger signal, and probing the expansionary history of the Universe using compact binary mergers. Recently, I have been working on the science case of various next generation ground-based detectors and the impact of various choices of detector designs on the science potential.
